I'm writing a shopping list for later. I'm trying to work out my scribblings in my notebook :o Ive worked out most of them......except VT. I wonder what VT is? It's not vanilla twist because it's a scribbled list of items to buy, it's not velvet toilet rolls either........

Now I am in a panic.

Youngest son just rang and he says he is coming home for a few days on Sunday :T - first time since Christmas.

He is going to have to sleep in eldest daughters room as his room is in mid conversion - most of upstairs is not fit for humans really :D

Its his birthday on Sunday and we put his cards in the post yesterday as we assumed he would not be home.

Presents are a big problem - he has got himself a new watch and we have said we would pay for it so we need to give him a cheque - this might be a struggle as he is insisting that he pays half for it. He is on a very low wage but even so he really hates accepting money off us.

I am thinking that if he is here on Monday we can go to Liverpool and we can have coffee and cake and we can get him a suit for when we got to St James palace in March.

So that leaves Sunday and we don't have a single thing to give him to actually open on the day apart from a book.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

He is 22 and very much an outdoor person but he has got every single bit of equipment that is it possible to have for all of his various activities. I got him mag subs at Christmas

He has a new laptop and all of the technology he needs.
    Really stuck

mhoc at Christmas I bought my son a Mr T's giftcard and think the other was a giftcard for the cinema . When I give him the envelopes I was a bit worried because it didn't look like much but he was over the moon. HTH
