How is the rubber floor coming along? :)
I had the son of the flooring expert round mine today, to do some DIY work. (Like father like son, both are experts at all things hammering-and-drilling related:D)

Well, I've been busy-busy-busy distributing the KFC vouchers - thanks OP.:T
No use to me, being veggie, but I am trying to put them to good use...

I handed out some to a work colleague on Wednesday, who got home to find the house with power cut, OH was wondering how to sort out tea for them and little nipper (electric cooker, you see), "No problem, love, it's my treat at KFC!" Same again last night, and probably tonight he says.

Gave some to my neice who is mad for KFC along with all her friends - think she is going to be very popular:
"Looks like me and my friends are going to be spending the next couple of days stocking up on popcorn chicken lol"

Had a word with a mate of mine over the border in chilly-jocko-land who does voluntary work with homeless and needy, so he'll be distributing them over the weekend to those who need it most. He was envious of my chicken-stare-out skills
"It is nice to find a hidden talent. I am jealous."

I will be out and about tomorrow in town, distributing a few more, to those who might need them. I know one of the Big Issue sellers (we used to mix in the same circles, till our paths diverged somewhat) and he can pass them on to those who can make best use of them.

But I still have few which I have to recycle, before the 17th.

And on that theme, I'll stick this on the jukebox

Flipping heck how many did you get!

    Tenth Anniversary
    Evening peeps. :)

Bladdy weather!! Earlier we had what can only be described as a mini tornado! It sounded like a train was trying to get in the house. When It stopped I opened the front door and it was like a bome had gone off. Several neighbours were retrieving recycling and wheelie bins up and down the street As all the bins were emptied yesterday they hardly had anything in them. Mine was picked and thrown over a 4 ft fence and into my car:eek: Another dent.
In the back garden it was worse! All the panels that blew down ages ago have been stacked at the back of my sheds, not now their not! they look like they've been smashed with a sledghammer! A part of 1 panel has gone over the back and landed in some government buildings, There's an 8 ft fence between us. Still, at least it's stopped raining. :rotfl: For now.

We had the tornado thing the other evening- I've never heard noise like it

Our bins were emptied yesterday and have been on their own little trip today

Thankfully everything else is intact *touch wood*
