With all the problems the world is facing, from climate change to civil wars and famines, not to mention the terrible devastation that the floods in this country are causing, it's down to twitter to put all that into perspective. Think you've got problems? Pah! Has a swan ever spat in your salsa??? I'll show you problems….

This had me in stitches - passed it along. Twitter is where I usually dump my angst as well :)

    Our light keeps flashing

Switch the lights off and light a candle - then you don't have to worry about the light :D

The tesco gammon from the meal deal was mediocre at best. Glad I did not pay full price.

I really enjoyed mine it was lovely with the [STRIKE]mash[/STRIKE]pommes puree, but would anyone pay £6 a portion?

The mash was lovely too, makes a change from burgers!

Well, I've been busy-busy-busy distributing the KFC vouchers - thanks OP.:T
No use to me, being veggie, but I am trying to put them to good use...

I handed out some to a work colleague on Wednesday, who got home to find the house with power cut, OH was wondering how to sort out tea for them and little nipper (electric cooker, you see), "No problem, love, it's my treat at KFC!" Same again last night, and probably tonight he says.

Gave some to my neice who is mad for KFC along with all her friends - think she is going to be very popular:
"Looks like me and my friends are going to be spending the next couple of days stocking up on popcorn chicken lol"

Had a word with a mate of mine over the border in chilly-jocko-land who does voluntary work with homeless and needy, so he'll be distributing them over the weekend to those who need it most. He was envious of my chicken-stare-out skills
"It is nice to find a hidden talent. I am jealous."

I will be out and about tomorrow in town, distributing a few more, to those who might need them. I know one of the Big Issue sellers (we used to mix in the same circles, till our paths diverged somewhat) and he can pass them on to those who can make best use of them.

The Coupon Fairy took some during the night, while I was asleep, as well; I was woken up by the flutter of her gossamer wings.

But I still have few which I have to recycle, before the 17th.

And on that theme, I'll stick this on the jukebox
