But please remember the basic laws of physics .... we do not want an influx of Elite at A & E with internal organs inside bottles of wine!!
(As I have been missing I thought I had to lower the tone a little!)

What about Bombay potatoes made into vegetable samosas with a yoghurt and mint dip? I like to cook a few tablespoons of red lentils with some veg stock to make the mix squidgey. And I like a little red pepper, chopped apple and a few sultans in the mix too. Or how about mushroom pate to go with some glitchy ciabatta? Lots of mushrooms fried in butter, then blitzed, then add garlic, a little Marmite and black pepper and cool, before mixing with Philadelphia and chopped parsley.TrulyMadly wrote: »Just smiling to myself
We have some friends coming for supper tomorrow night. It's burgers turned into lasagne for the main. Lemon posset made from the Greens lemon pie filling...ooh heck just checked it's a year out of date:eek::)
I'm sat here now trying to think of a cheap starter that's not soup:rotfl:I am not young enough to know everything.0 -

Evening all
Hope those up north have survived the winds and FC I hope your ds2 has not found it too annoying (as long as garage roof stayed on and none of the itemised stash got damaged I am sure he will be ok)
Drove to Bedford and back to take dad home. No bothersome wind and only a short shower whilst driving. Bedford was nice and sunny.
Called in to see dd and dgd on way home. Dgd not happy as teething and has such a sore bottom:( Hope things improve before their visit next week as grandma does like a good nights sleep.
20 pages behind again so off to catch up.
I called in sainbobs tonight and lots of picture frames had been reduced. I got a few but am after the 8 x 10 cream distressed one for £2. Checked online but none left. If any of my local friends see one I would be so grateful if they could either pick one up for me or pm me the location as I did a lovely Hare using pastel pencils yesterday and this frame would be perfect so I can keep it safe from damage.
I did manage the grey and the blue frames in every size but no cream ones locally. TIA
