Gosh Locarr. You really are very kind to me. Hope you are keeping well.

Was at the gym the other day. Guy who runs it gave me a taster of his protein shake (sounds dirty, but it's not!). He mixed his protein whey with 2tsp of peanut butter and a sachet of porridge oats. I thought it would taste vile but it actually tasted delish, plus it kept me full up for ages. Definitely going to give it a whirl. You ever tried anything like that or do you just stick no normal protein shakes?

PS. TWEETS my gorgeous young lady friend, how are you? Hope you are well.

:o I am ok thanks . One more workday then off for a week :j

She can order anything she wants as long as the returns are free ;)

Are the rules, wear the item, and return for free and a full refund? When I was a child my mum did this with a dress for me to go to a wedding! The apple never falls far from the tree!!

'Cos the wine bottle between the legs is a well known male courting technique in the South East.. Just ask Nerfy or EmmaP or PD or Bradley or any of the other unsavoury characters from this area!!:rotfl:

Isn't that the best way to warm up a bottle of red? I do it, but there again I'm a Geordie living near the South (insert rolling laughing face , oh and poking out tongue face)

    :P
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

We have some friends coming for supper tomorrow night. It's burgers turned into lasagne for the main. Lemon posset made from the Greens lemon pie filling...ooh heck just checked it's a year out of date:eek::)

I'm sat here now trying to think of a cheap starter that's not soup:rotfl:

how about tuna fishcakes for starters? if you have been getting the cheap PP tuna with the burgers?

  • I missed the comments re: wine bottle between the legs.

But please remember the basic laws of physics .... we do not want an influx of Elite at A & E with internal organs inside bottles of wine!!

(As I have been missing I thought I had to lower the tone a little!)
