Has anyone had any success in getting Montenegro Airlines to reply to their claim for delayed flights? I tried getting the CAA involved but they have backed out of helping now. Can anyone help?

Looking back at the answers given when you raised this last November, it doesn't look very positive. What did the CAA say, as a matter of interest?0 -

I am giving up on this claim now, its been a complete waste of time. Even the CAA won't or can't help. Thanks all0

If you believe you have a valid claim why not put it in the hands of a nwnf. 70%+ of something is better than 100% of nothing0

Don't you just love it when people give up! At least, according to the airlines, it keeps the fares lower. I wonder how many people have actually corresponded with the CAA/EU/MEP/MP regarding the airlines attitude to their paying customers - only 22 'liked' the fact the EU ombudsman was considering the EU position in respect of the CAA 'guidelines' which reminds me to copy and paste a lovely remark from one of our esteemed contributors to these pages ....“Hopefully this judgment (Huzar)will provide even more certainty to the European Court of Justice cases we already know of, and will add more clarity to the situation which the Civil Aviation Authority have only confused with their misguided, legally incorrect and one-sided “list of extraordinary circumstances”.0 -

Perhaps fill in http://www.bottonline.co.uk/aviation/flight-compensation-claims-form and go from there.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Though, I can't help think that a number of airlines that are not in EU countries (and some within) really couldn't care less about rules introduced by the EU.
This one as a case in point 8 aircraft and 100% backed by their government, just what does anyone really think that they can do to enforce any of the regs?0 -
We have had a long-term compensation claim with Small Planet Airlines, now operated out of Lithuania, and we have just received notification from Lithuanian European Consumer Centre (ECC) that our claim is rejected due to the airline stating, 'the cause for the delay was a malfunction of the plane's autopilot system which they consider extraordinary and unexpected circumstances. As such, the airline declines your request for compensation under the Air Passenger Right's legislation, Regulation 261/2004.'
What are our options now or is this the end of the road for our claim?0
