I love reading blogs - although i don't usually enter the comps as i'm not hugely interested in their giveaways.
Whilst i somewhat understand where she's coming from, i've actually found what is now one of my favourite blogs as a result of it being posted on the competitions board.
Well, those of you who entered better unfollow to not waste her time and stop being so generous with the page hits. Bloggers love those stats... they come in handy when asking for/receiving freebies to "review."0 -

I have lost count of the number of websites I've saved to my faves/shopped from as a result of comping. Most I'd never have heard of otherwise.
For some of them, giving away a tenner even, or a lipstick, reels people in. Some will follow, or be interested, or tell someone else, or buy. Anyone who can't work that out, or the simple idea of giving something away to get more followers, needs their head examined. Erm, isn't that the point of them doing it?! If they want to do one for fellow bloggers, fine. Do that, and say so. But if they had their brain in gear they'd do one for Joe Public too in order to get people following. So what if those never read it, it's mainly about followers for these people. They want to be read. And from what I've seen, a lot of bloggers seem to do reviews in order to get free stuff. I don't see the difference to the manufacturer of whatever that product is! If I like a product from a comp win, I'll buy it in future.
I usually ignore the blog ones anyway - have seen too many ars*y people over the years. Also ignore ones that aren't relevant to me (like mum/baby comps).
Anyway, what makes a 'comper'? I enter lots. I also work long hours, full time. I rarely win anything, I just like entering them and it gives me something to do when I'm stuck at my desk with nowt to do. So how many am I allowed to enter 'like a normal person' and how many before I'm classed as a 'comper'?!
Ways and means of saying things. She didn't need to be quite so tetchy.
Jx2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
From other forums I use Bloggers have the worst reputation for picking winners they want, not picking winners, not delivering prizes and providing used prizes (including used cosmetics).
(Of course some Blogs are fine)0 -

Most bloggers use rafflecopters and I thought the rafflecopter chose the winner at random? Or am I wrong?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Your right Blue

Edit to say:
If when the RC picks a winner but the blogger can see that the person who has been picked has not done all the options they should of to be able to win then they click again for the RC to pick someone else & carry on until they find a winner who has done everything they shouldThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0
