Ive currently got a 30month interest free balance transfers barclaycard but in an emergency used to make a purchase. so do the repayments go towards paying off the purchases and the interest rate on them and then once finished the balance transfer.
eg £1000 balance transfer @ 0% and £500 purchases
so could i transfer to another card and then back to barclaycard ? @ the 30 month interest free?

The higher rate balance.
Whether it's worth paying another 2 x 3% for the BT (assuming it is still open) depends on how long it would take you to pay off.0 -
best to do a balance transfer then?0

best to do a balance transfer then?
It depends on
1. How long you will take to pay off the £500. If its only 2-3 months for example then it will be cheaper just to leave it on there and pay it off monthly than to pay 2 balance transfer fees.
and
2. If Barclaycard will even offer you a balance transfer deal. The 30 months will only be available for a certain time after opening the account (e.g. 60 days)0
