Absolutely, my Nexus 4 updated too, but I think if you were buying a new model Nexus 7 now it would come with KitKat already on it, so the fact that it doesn't suggests to me that it's not the current version.0 -
agrinnall - that's the original 2012 Nexus 7, with Android 4.1 installed. 4.4 KitKat (the latest) is available for it and will download to it automatically.0
