It's lifetime warranty upto 100,000 miles (as i found out today).

I will defo ask what caused it.... and it's a Exclusiv 1.3 CDTI Ecoflex

Mine was pre-reg (it has 5 miles on the clock when I bought it) - But i still got the lifetime warranty

I would agree - where you might normally strip and replace seals, they probably just bolt on a new unit.
