And it's here! PAYDAY! How long I have waited. I need to keep the money in my pocket, though. Sure feels good to have some some. On the debt payment front, all amounts bar the mortgage are now in SINGLE figures...sub £10.000. Hurrah! Just the n*wide review to get through, then it's all downhill to Christmas.

  • Thanks, guys. Had a good day, Brogden. Happy to have a bit of money. INOD, I had £15.46 left in the bank. First time for ages something was left. Thanks for the encouragement, Puzz. The weekend starts here! Just got a job application to perfect that needs to be in by Monday.

  • So, job application has gone in. I've been thinking about it a lot and really want to get it now. It would be less driving, around a third of what I am paying at present. Also a hike in salary would mean more money to put towards the buffer fund and the pension pot will be much improved. All round win win.
Money spent so far has only been on planned things and that's how it is going to stay.

HB good luck with the application. Maybe that is where I am going on there is NEVER a quiet part of the day, that I can have to myself. :(

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Thanks, Chevalier. It's worth getting up a little bit earlier to get that bit of 'me' time. Bought essential stuff like dog food and fuel. Keeping a close eye on the cash. Living room decorations are coming on well. OH doing a good job, but he's a perfectionist and takes SO long! However, I am not complaining as it is getting done. I'm still worried about getting through to Christmas with the £500 I have got, though. I'm hoping I can make a bit more towards it selling stuff at the Christmas Fair next Saturday and might brave the cold to do a carboot at the all year round one near us next Sun. Today was off because of the rain.
What am I going to do about clothes? I'm in a job that needs me to look professional and smart and I'm scraping the barrel with my outfits at the moment. I also need to look the part for the interview for the new job. I know YNAB has all the categories and you are supposed to budget it all out, but it's not working out like that :( There have been bills to pay, so all the bits of money that should have been being saved for other things have got swallowed up with that and I need all this month's available money for Christmas. I'll just have to get creative and see what I can do with what I have got. Desperately need shoes, though. Might have to get a pair.
Tidying and cleaning blitz on the agenda for today. Wish I had a magic wand!
Fracture clinic in the morning to see what's going on with the wrist. I've been using it, but it aches and there's a lump on the side. Hope I don't have to have a pot on.
    Have a good Sunday all!
