I've received 4 parking tickets from District Enforcement at Staffordshire University; I appealed these charges to no avail and I have missed the deadline to appeal to POPLA; I've tried speaking to the University but it's getting me nowhere - can anyone help please?

New thread please AFTER you've read the 'NEWBIES read this first' sticky at the top of the forum index.

Please go back and actually read the basics on forum use, navigation and on bumping threads that you agreed as having read and understood as part of your signup. There is simply no excuse for this!

Then go to the head of the forum, here:

    And everything will be self-evident.

What happened with your previous run-in with a PPC?

Not sure it's necessary to be quite so condescending; this is the MSE Forum, not your private Forum.

As far as I am concerned, my post is the same theme as all the other posts on here.

Yes, had a run in with a PPC at Cheshire Oaks; followed the advice of someone on the previous thread I posted on and ignored the letters; they've stopped (the ticket was issued in Dec 2012).

District Enforcement have issued hundreds of tickets at the Stoke Campus of Staffs Uni and people seem to be paying them; I appealed and they turned it down. I believe that District Enforcement is owned by ex Staffs Uni law students which might explain why this shady outfit were appointed; I can't seem to get anywhere with the University direct.

I was certainly not being condescending, I was actually trying to help you through this process by pointing you in the right direction. And you're dealing with a far different PPC in District Enforcement than you were with Care Parking, and in an entirely different era now that PoFA 2012 is fully in operation.

The more you understand about this process relevant to your own situation, the more likely your prospect of success.

Sorry I was unable to help in the way you expected.

There's some great research and advice on here. My problem is with District Enforcement who ticketed me on the Stoke on Trent Campus of Staffs University. I had the window stickers, sent an appeal that was rejected then on Christmas Eve received a letter saying they were going to take me to court unless I paid in full; I put the letters in a drawer and only found out subsequently that I'd missed the deadline to appeal to POPLA. Advice please?

Umkomaas - my comment about being condescending was not aimed at you but I can see that your response popped up before mine this appearing I was responding to you. The information you've provided is really helpful; have you any experience with District Enforcement, please?
