Mobile Data Bolt-On Costs for all networks?

  • Your usage would cost £3.50 a month on 3 payg, but I would also recommend Ovivo. There's no such thing as a free phone. I would keep an eye on hot UK deals for a deal on the S3.

    None of them.

The contract comes with what is stated and you take it or leave it at the price offered.

I managed to do it on my O2 account as I have previously stated. It all depends on if the O2 deals are no longer offering data as a standard bolt-on which you can choose to cancel.

Thanks, although I rarely see 3G as the cheapest of deals on the phones I ponder over.

I was referring to all other networks per your question, since you are already aware of O2.

Have you not considered simply purchasing whatever phone you want SIM-free and then going for either a PAYG or SIM-only tariff? This generally works out much cheaper in most cases.

Just to let people know. O2 do not let you cancel the data bolt on anymore. Its something they stopped a while back. So if the OP takes a new contract/upgrade with o2 now, they are stuck paying for data.

If you don't use data why not just buy your phone outright and then go sim only or pay as you go

Perfect! A solid answer, I'd consider this thread closed now.

Well I'm poor at the moment but if I end up with a paid job I will go down that route.
