I note that you have all worked very hard at finding examples of houses that don't look good with solar panels rollinghome. Well done I hope it did not take to many hours to do so!

You can always get ones that look like this:

    shade matters - a lot
We have a little shade but not much and it will be during the hours of low sun.
However we are using a system called Solar Edge which means each panel is managed as an independent unit rather than a whole array.
If one panel is in shade it shouldn't play havoc.
So we have mitogated the shade/dual aspect factor.

We also get good monitoring as the system is linked into the router.
Something that's essential for bragging rights :-)
something that saves £150+ per year plus pays out £2000 a year I'd expect to be something that a buyer of a larger house would appreciate.
I think there are still some people who won't like it even if it's a "no brainer".
However I am not going to live my life for those few people (I'm not even planinng to sell !!).
these roads spiral down to tips where no one would want to live
I am not bragging, but you have to be well off to live on my street.
The smallest houses are 4 bed and about £400K.
The people that live here all have a vested interest in caring about their properties, looking after their gardens and trying not to upset their neighbours.
We have panels here already and I'm pleased to report it heasn't brought the neighbourhood into disrepute in fact it makes very little difference to anyone's life.
The idea that we're all we're all going to change our values overnight and start treating the place like a tip is just ridiculous.
BTW - I am not syaing that people on lower incomes don't care about their properties, just trying to give a picture of a well heeled place where people do care.
