Broken phone quandary?
My HTC 8X screen broke only months after getting it on a 2 year contract. I could not afford to get it fixed so I have just put up with it for over six months. I am now earning and would like to get it fixed but I'm not sure what to do. I did phone up 3 when it originally broke and they quoted me £80-£120 estimate. I would be prepared to pay this but I was wondering if it is better to go elsewhere (HTC? an independent phone fixer?)
Has anyone had any experience of this? All comments and idea would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I suggest contacting HTC direct rather than Three to see if their cost is less. Also try googleing phone repairers local to you or look in Yellow Pages as there are people setting up repair businesses all over the place due to the demand.0

I've just been looking at eBay and it looks like I could pick up a used HTC 8X for less than it costs to fix it, plus I could sell my old broken phone?! I'm not sure this is the right thing to do. Has anyone done this before. Mine is locked to 3 network, how much is it to unlock it and would that get me more on eBay?
Thanks for any help!
