PPI/no credit agreement

So now this thread is going around in circles. You don't need to have the agreement (post #2) and the Bank have already (apparently, post #1) complied with a SAR letter you sent. You won't be sent proof that you didn't have PPI (posts #6 & #7), but if your original SAR didn't show any PPI then you clearly didn't have it!:DAh! I'll have to look through my files, I've a feeling I did a SAR, that's how I found out that hadn't kept the agreement.0 -

Thank you, and I see how it must appear. But after my SAR, I wasn't provided with anything, just a letter confirming they no longer have a copy of the agreement, and returning my money. So, forgive me for being stupid, does that mean they do not hold ANY information (including that on PPI), it just seems a bit weird!0 -
depends on whether you sent a SAR or made a section 78 request.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

This was obviously not a Subject Access Request (SAR) you made, but a request for the finance Agreement under section 78 of the Consumer Credit Act.after my SAR, I wasn't provided with anything, just a letter confirming they no longer have a copy of the agreement, and returning my money.
Now start again at post #10 and follow the instructions. Alternatively, go back to post #2 and just ring the Bank and ask them if you had PPI-but you'll have to believe their answer!
Clear now?0 -
I think it must've been a request for the agreement, as I have a recollection if paying £1, not £10, which is what the SAR is I believe.
Anyway, I'm clearer now, so thank you.0 -
