Generally, what do you wrap sandwiches and the like in?
I use sandwich bags, but I know some people who use foil.

The 500 per roll flimsy freezer bags from the £1 shop. Brilliant.
And they work for defrosting a few slices of bread from the freezer too. And many other uses.
What value, and they work!0 -
Sandwich bags from Aldi, or boxes like lock n lock or similar.0

I use the plastic lidded tubs you get Chinese takeaway food in; free, no need for extra wrapping, butties don't get squished and a good excuse for a cheeky takeaway if/when they break0

I use foil (I think as it's thicker it holds the sandwich filling in better) but my OH prefers them wrapped in clingfilm.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Unwrapped, in a lock n lock box.0

for me wrap n mat too, recently, what a good idea and no waste.0

Empty pasta packets, sliced bread bags, marg tubs, paper bags from the market, really any container or wrapper than can be reused. Mostly held together by elastic bands found in the street, that the postman drops (I wash them first). No point in buying wrapping materials especially, when there is so much that can be reused, several times around too! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

I agree about getting a take away to stock up but you can buy these containers easily in the £ shop. Great and constantly reusable, they're also great for freezing small portions of meals.Ms_Chocaholic wrote: »I use foil (I think as it's thicker it holds the sandwich filling in better) but my OH prefers them wrapped in clingfilm.
I like foil for wrapping certain things but always re-use it unless it's with something really messy. So I anticipate getting at least two uses from a piece of foil. It all helps!0
