Vodafone possible breach of contract
I dont know if anyone can help ?? . I got offered a tablet to tag onto my existing phone contract after getting it I decided it wasn't cost effective so cancelled within the 7 day grace period . On my intial phone cal with Vodafone they stated I wouldn't get charged as I had cancelled in the allowed time frame and that they would send a freepost bag for me to send it back .that bag never arrived an its now a month later . They charged me for it last month even after stating I wouldn't be charged. They did refund me after numerous phone calls . They look set to charge me again which I cant afford . I know I shouldn't be charged as I have done everything I was supposed to do but they say until they get it back they will charge me . As the fault isnt with me can this be classed as a breach of contract for both my phone and the unwanted tablet , as I jave lost confidence in the company as a whole and feel poorly treated even tho ive been a loyal customer thats always paid ontime every month for over 2 years .

Did the tablet get returned?
You said the bag never arrived have you called back to request a bag?
Look at it from the other side. If Vodafone have no record that you never got the bag it may be that they think that you changed your mind again and decided to keep it.
Call back, state that the bag never arrived and try again, the only issue may be if you have been using it in the mean time you may have gone past the DSR window.
There is no breech of contract yet, until the item is returned how will vodafone know you have not decided to keep it and the contract?0 -
I have phoned them about 8 times to ask where the bag is . Ive even asked them to send another one , that still haven't arrived .it has been in its boxed unused since I made the first phpne call .0
