Any one else been on this flight TCX 8128 BELFAST TO LARNACA 02/10 /2013 With a Dep time of 14.55 but it arrived 4.5 hours late?
I sent my claim for compensation to Thomas Cook through there site the gist of there reply was this ( Having carried out a full investigation the specific circumstances surrounding the delay to your own flight were of a technical nature. These were extraordinary, in that Thomas Cook took all reasonable precautions necessary to avoid the situation, and despite our proactive measures the problem could not have been prevented. these unpredictable events can be likened to those we encounter with our own cars, despite having full service histories, or MOT’s. )
I sent copy's of all the details to The Consumer Council in Northern Ireland and have had a phone call from them today to say they have sent this flight case to the CAA Who replied saying it is TC responsibility and they feel they should be making compensation in this delay. But the lady said after going back to TC with this info from CAA they are still not taking responsibility
If anyone else has been on this flight please join this Thread and let me know if you have or will make a claim and how you are getting on, or any advice for me.

the reason people are encouraged to post in the airline thread is to enable people to find the threads to post in on the first page. Within the Thomas Cook thread there are 24 posts relating to Belfast flights, however the last one was in November so, if it was a Thomas Cook Belfast thread as you propose, it would now be on page 10 of this board so would not be seen by people who join and look at the first page
