If a payment has been taking out of a credit card, where the card holder was unaware about it,
i) what is the procedure to get the company to refund that money, through the credit card legal terms and conditions?
ii) and if the company who has taken the money from the card is being awkward and dont refund the money, can the credit card legally get the money back from them? (due to this law)?
iiii) what is the worse case scenareo?
iiiii) (don't credit cards have a legal term that debit cards no NOT have, so that money can be refunded back to cards? - is that the same thing, what is that law term called? )
-can the company challenge and Not refund the money? - or the law is on our side, as it is a credit card?
thanks in advance

For both debit and credit cards it's a simple Chargeback Protection.
However, if it was a fraudulent transaction both are irrelevant.

If it's a fraudulent transaction you report it to the bank and they refund it unless/until they get proofs that you authorised it.
Chargeback and s75 protection are for authorised transactions when the supplier fails to deliver what you have paid for (or refuses the refund after you rightfully cancelled the order). This might require some proofs from you.
Instead of this general discussion it would be better if you posted the facts with all essential details, not same vague "unaware of", "being awkward" etc.0
