Sorry to hear you are out this month Wegle but hoping next month is the one.
Sulphate - fingers crossed you might still get your BFP or at least that your cycles start behaving themselves.
Next month will be our 11th month TTC so really hoping for some luck! I know I'm thinking way too far ahead but does anyone know - the cut off for IVF in my area is 35, so that means I'm not classed as 'too old' until I actually turn 36 right? It seems a bit crazy to think about already but I'm turning 34 this year and feel that time isn't on my side anymore, then I feel ridiculous for feeling that as I still think I'm pretty young...? Sorry for rambling on like a crazy lady
Hi Shrimpy,
Just delurking to say that one of the ladies on the 12+ thread is in an area where the cutoff is 35. I think it's picklekin, and she lives somewhere west of London - like Reading maybe. So there are areas where the cutoff is low, despite the NICE guidelines.
I know your history, and I would ENCOURAGE you to go see a doctor. They won't dismiss you, and in fact the C word can open up some doors faster than normal. I've had nothing but good experiences with NHS with this IVF, although the waiting lists can be long, but I am just over 16 weeks now. Please don't wait... a trachelectomy is a major operation, and there is no question it could be impacting your TTC'ing.
Hopefully you do get lucky naturally, but even then it is better if you have already talked it through with you doctors. I have had a TAC put in during the pregnancy, and I got a lecture from the surgeon about how I should have had it done before!! So there are things you can do to help the pregnancy last, and the earlier the better.
I am being driven crazy by all the appointments I have to have, so I know how you feel! I am tired of being poked and prodded, but I remind myself it's all worth it. It would be lovely if the process wasn't so medicalised, but it is, so such is life, and in 5 months I will hopefully have a baby in my arms.
Go see the doctor!
hugs

I haven't had any tests yet but had my cervix removed 18 months ago due to cancer so that may be causing some complications. I hate going to the drs, I always feel like I'm making a fuss over nothing and wasting their time
Agree with everyone else Shrimpy- You won't be wasting their time and you are entitled to ask questions and seek help if you feel you might need it0 -
Did a first response test this morning, negative & then literally 10 minutes later I started spotting, how typical! I'll wait to see what happens before I call it CD1.0

Thanks T2D - was wondering if you still lurked, lovely to hear from you. I have been following your progress and am so glad everything is going well for you. Am I right in thinking a TAC is a cerclage? If so I had one put in when I had my trac so that's good.
Lara - lovely to hear from you too! Hope you're keeping well - not long left for you is there? Are you team yellow?
Shorty - thank you too - you're right I guess, I have as much right to see a dr as anyone else! Hope you're doing well.
Thank you ladies for restoring my sanity, it really means a lot that you have taken the time to reply to my ramblings. I will speak to DH and get the ball rolling. You are a lovely bunch!
