Hugs Gelly. Enjoy your time away- make sure you relax!

No news here. AF due tomorrow, been having back pain for a few days but is probably just a sign of AF. I did a test on Sunday and was a BFN so not hopeful.

    Hi all.
So sorry I haven't been posting of late. I have been trying to be less obsessive about TTC. (Yeah right! Like it's possible).
Firstly, HUGE congratulations tinks!!!! I hope things go smoothly for you this time. Hopefully more of us will be joining you soon.
Welcome to any newbies and I'm sorry for anyone who the witch caught, or is in limbo with no AF and BFNs.
As for me I thought I would try OPK's this month. Tested CD12 - negative result, then tested CD13 - positive result! It would appear I have gone back to a regular cycle. DTD last night CD13 and hopefully tonight and tomorrow. Can someone please reassure me this is right. I remember my last BFP was caught CD13 so fingers crossed.
I had a small meltdown yesterday when I lost all my self confidence but with a LOT of reassurance from OH I think I'm back on track. I'm just not feeling very good about myself at the moment. I went for a short run this morning so I feel a little better and that I'm doing something positive.
Thank you, as always, for the lists kellykins. x
Could I please be updated to 0DPO. Is that right if my OPK positive was yesterday? Not done this before so I hope it's right.
Lots of love to all. xxx

Gelly - Sorry you're feeling down at the moment and the BFN. Portugal sounds fab though and I'm sure the break and some sunshine will do you and HB the world of good.

aces - hugs for you on your down day too.

wendz - Boo to the BFN! Fingers crossed AF stays away for you.

claretsgirl - I'm no TTC expert but that sounds like a good plan to me! Sorry your self confidence has taken a hit, but great news on the run. Exercise is great for picking yourself up, all those yummy endorphins! Glad your OH was there to help you through it, he sounds like a keeper! :)

AFM - still spotting here awaiting the arrival of AF. I just want it to come and go now so we can get on with getting down! The sun is really shining here today so I've just got back from a lovely walk round the lake with the hound. He did manage to find a big pile of fox poo though and roll around in it so now he's sulking in the corner as I gave him a bath! That'll teach him!

    Hi Ladies,

I've been a lurker for a while now and thought maybe it was time to be brave and join in.

Everyone here is so friendly and full of valuable help and information.

My OH and I have decided that now is the time to TTC #1 but at 36 years old I'm a bit nervous that I may have left it too late.

I came off the pill in January and we have been using FF for a month or so now to try and start monitoring and planning. We have been using OPK's and have just started taking temps.

According to FF I am currently CD27- We seemed to have an early positive on an OPK this month so the stats seem to be a bit out. My temperature has also been all over the place as I've had a cold and apparently because I sleep with my mouth open it can affect the readings

I've had spotting for a day or so now- so I'm pretty sure we are out this month. I did wonder if anyone can help me with their definition of spotting? I'm not really clear as to when it moves from spotting to light flow. I only have a liner on- really just to check for anything. After all these years of AF you would think I would know by now!!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here- Keeping my fingers crossed for BFP's for all.

Welcome to newcomers. I hope (in the nicest possible way) your stay is short!

Still no af! Why can't my cycles just be normal!!

I have decided though to try and lose a few pounds -I need to lose quite a few but my head isn't in it at the moment so I'm going to just aim to lose 5 lb initially to get my BMI down to below 30- then when I feel my mind is in in more I will step it up a notch and will aim to lose another 1 stone minimum!!

Hugs Gelly- hope you have a lovely time away, you definitely deserve it.

Hugs to those who are on cd1/ cd2 and hugs to those who are struggling at the moment.x

    Hello all,

I wondered if anyone had an idea of how long it takes to get a referral to the gyno after initial blood tests. The doctor's surgery is being a bit ambiguous!

At 38, I was worried about the age thing, but the doc says that still having AFs means that everything working. The blood tests showed that my progesterone is low, so they'll likely put me on Clomid. Just waaaaiting for the gyno letter to come through!
    :)
