To add to the stress of ttc again, now I've discovered that the rabbits have made some massive pee stains on the carpet. Knowing from experience, our carpet cleaner/shampooer doesn't do much for urine stains once they are dry. I'm scared that we may be forced to replace the carpet! :(

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hello Ladies

Thought it was about time that I came out of the shadows and introduced myself. I've been following the TTC threads for a while now and first have to say a massive thank you to all you guys! I'm such a dunce when it comes to biology and having spent 15 years doing everything possible to try and prevent pregnancy was under the naive impression that as soon as I came off the pill I would be pregnant the minute my husband looked at me! :D Thanks to you guys I am now much better informed.

So a little about me, 31 and trying for baby number 1. Hubby and I got married last July and had planned to wait for 1 year before TTC, however at the time I came off the pill to allow my body a chance to re-adjust. Having recently turned 31 and seeing a close friend go through a really hard time TTC we decided that we would not put it off anymore. Moving house and finishing college etc, can all be dealt with when necessary and are no longer the huge priorities that I once thought they were. My body and heart are just seriously craving a baby now!

So for the last couple of months we have been NTNP but due to being a pair of pandas we've pretty much worked out that we are going to have to be more organised about this. I wish we could be one of those couples that has sex 5 times a week but it's just not going to happen. Good news is I'm a natural organiser and control freak so TTC should satisfy my obsession with spreadsheets, charts, calendars and any other control freak tool I can find.

So I've ordered some IC OVKs and some conceive plus, researched the SMEP which I think will be what we try for a while (if we can manage to keep up with the BD schedule!). I've created an account on Fertility Friend and am feeling raring to go!! :j

I'm currently CD25 and expecting AF any day now.

Sorry I rambled on a bit there! Looking forward to getting to know you all better!
