I think I am going to Ov in next couple of days so need to get busy ;-).

OH was winding me up earlier. I was moaning about people only having to look at someone to get pregnant and he said but it was quick with dd1. Um no it was 13 months? He doesn't believe me, I swear he lives on his own planet sometimes.

hi, been on reading but not had much to say really been TRYING to take a back seat with the ttc as it can be quite hard
anyway afs been and gone, came a week early this time finally got oh on board with the trying properly! rather than just bding whenever!
was really disappointed when af came last month thought this month could be it but hey ho onto another try and see where this month goes, fingers crossed.

I was talking about OV and things with my OH earlier today (as I have been since we started TTC) and he said "oh, you really are trying to get pregnant aren't you?" Um... Isn't that what we've both been doing for the past seven months? To which I replied "oh yeah, I know we're trying but you're like, REALLY trying". :rotfl:

I am technically not sure what day I ovulated (if at all) as I thought it was Wednesday but then on Friday I had more EWCM ... So if it gets that far I will take Friday as my ov day and test around 15dpo if AF doesn't arrive by then although I am sure we have dtd at the wrong times this month


I am not sure what signs other people look for and I know a lot of you are temping / using the sticks but my sex drive stepped up quite a bit last week - After doing some research it appears to be the animal instinct :rotfl:in us telling us the body is ready.


Feeling a tad off it today - just want to munch and sleep There has been the dreaded cold / flu bug doing it's rounds in the office

Hi all

CD22 today, no BD at the right time this month so now just waiting for AF (and my CBFM) so that we can get started.

Had a lovely day with two friends and their newish babies on Friday and felt that I was finally ready to try for #2 - however then had a really difficult day with DS on Friday (he's just 3) which made me wonder whether I'm insane for even thinking about putting myself through it again!

Hey lillian - I remember you well from TTC a few years ago, my DS turned 3 in January.

I had a second baby back in August..a girl , but I had all the doubts and worries about having another child, particularly when DS was having a 'terrible two's' day (of which there were plenty!), and how would I cope with a baby and a toddler etc..

All I can say is second babies are SO much easier than the first, mostly because your attitude will be different, it certainly isn't as terrifying as you have been there, done it etc..

anyway..just wanted to try and put your mind at rest. There are times when baby wakes in the night for the 3rd time and manages to wake DS up too, or vice versa which can be challenging, but on the whole a second baby is a breeze compared to the first

we're even thinking of a 3rd..although I think that would be going a step too far!
