Welcome Crystal!
It's good to see some more new faces after our sudden drop in TTC'ers! I hope your stay here is a short one. Take a look at the first page for a list of commonly used abbreviations and information on pregnancy tests.
I've never used internet cheapies before but I do use the ones from Asda that are £1 and they've worked fine for me. always remember that on any test if there's a second line it's a positive no matter how faint!
Lots of ladies on here use OPKs, I would wait until at least next month. I've been off the pill since September and will try them in the new year. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Thanks lulu, it's all so new! I'm sure I'll have loads more questions in time.
I'm just trying not to get excited and learn to be patient (not my strong point).
Sending you a hug Emma xx0 -
Welcome Crystal!
It's going to be a long week waiting for AF. Trying to keep busy but work is slow at the moment. I've downloaded all three Hunger Games books on my Kindle to help pass the time!0 -
We are all impatient at times, Crystal, don't worry about it!
Hopefully reading will help take your mind off it, muso. I've been meaning to read those books but got loads of Peter James books to finish.
I have been making my christmas cakes this past week which has helped. Feeling really rough today, nausea in full swing. It kind of feels like I'm hungry, so I eat something and I feel the same if not worse. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Fingers crossed! That's the way I felt in my first few weeks of pregnancy. However, these last few months have told me that you can't trust your body to provide reliable symptoms!
I've got no recognisable symptoms at the moment although I was very crampy at 2-3DPO which is unusual for me.0 -
Thanks for all your kind messages…been a long day but slowly getting head round it.. TBH had a bad feeling all week. that doesn't make it better but ready for next time.. As christopher reeve said
"once you've got hope, anything is possible"

Welcome Crystal - you're in good company with finding the waiting difficult. 2ww's seem to last FOREVER!
Thanks Rebekah - fingers crossed it'll be the same for me
Musogirl - I LOVE the Hunger Games books so they'll definitely keep u occupied.
Lulu - it's all sounding positive. When's AF due?
Good job I put in my details on this thread as I thought AF was due Friday but realised from the lists it's due Thursday0 -

AF is due this weekend between Thursday and Saturday (got no clue when) - going to buy some FRERs later. They may be 2 for 1 in Boots but in Tesco they're 2 tests for £6.50.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

FRER's in Tesco? Mine didn't have any on the shelves at all. I normally get the 2 pack of tesco own brand for £3.50 but wanted the most sensitive ones possible this time. I'm due on Sunday but want to take the test a little earlier as we're going away for a belated wedding anniversary treat on the Monday. I'd rather get the negative result sooner so it doesn't ruin our trip!
My plan is to get through the Hunger Games books this week and watch the first 2 films on Netflix before going to see the new film next week! I like a challenge!0
