On a serious note, I think I'm going to skidaddle over to the 'scary' board now, and just stick to obsessively lurking here

I can't begin to describe how thankful I am for the support and comradery I've received on here in the months of ttc, and I wish you all nought but best wishes and of course #babydust.

Also, I really hope this doesn't sound patronising but I wanted to give you a few pointers from my BFP experience:

1) I had more pg symptoms the month before my bfp than for my actual bfp.

2) My CM did not gush, or dramatically increase before my bfp. I appreciate that for some women it does, but don't worry if yours doesn't.

3) I didn't have implantation pains or bleeding, just cramping on the same dpo I had cramps last cycle, so not even sure that was implantation.

4) I had no metallic taste in my mouth.

5) My sense of smell only seems to be slightly more increased a week after my bfp.

6) Aside from numerous bfps, I don't really 'feel' pregnant. Honestly, I feel great at the mo


I do completely appreciate some women get genuine symptoms, but the amount you read on Dr. Google suggests you should instantly have your head in a bog and be unable to touch your boobs if you're preggo, & for me it just hasn't been the case.

(EDIT: Also to add, I got my bfp the first month using preseed, after barely noticing anything resembling EWCM in previous cycles. And the 'inserting' really wasn't that bad!)

Good luck Claire! Hope it all goes smoothly for you. Thanks for your tips. I may give the preseed a try next month if nothing happens this time.

I'm still not 100% sure when I OV'd as I still have watery CM. Had watery CM, followed by 1 noticeable day of EWCM and now back to watery. I was under the impression that things were supposed to pretty much dry up after ovulation. Does anybody have any knowledge to impart?!

My CM after ovulation would stay white and watery. This time it's definitely stickier. Who knows though!

It's all so confusing! I spend half the month second guessing signs and symptoms. I suspect that I am 2DPO and I'm already going stir crazy!

I know the feeling, friend. I'm 7 or 8 DPO but trying not to think about it..
