Aww, Jo, thank you - it really does make me feel better that there are others feeling the same way. I think it's worse for you being away from home and having to put a brave face on!!

If it's any consolation, when we conceived our first child (last December) we were *exactly* the same as you have been this month. No significant charting, we kind of had a vague idea of when I ovulated so DTD around then... and it worked!! Caught first try.

Let's not lose faith - AF hasn't arrived yet and you never know we might just join the flurry of BFP's. (Got to at least try to be optimistic, right?!)

And urm... funnily enough I don't know what "do you have any pregnancy tests" is in Icelandic... and babelfish is NOT helpful on that front. But at least you're savvy enough to know not to get a digi - I wouldn't have thought of that until I got the result!! :rotfl:

Yeah, its probably because I cant go home that Im feeling a bit more off than I normally would to be honest, its not like we are expecting things to happen that quickly or anything, I just seem to not be able to help myself - I go into fantasy land and wonder if it is actually happening. Now im feeling a bit crampy and tired and annoyed generally and its not helping.

On the positive, I have managed to translate pregnancy test into icelandic so ill probably just start walking into shops later saying it without knowing how to pronounce it. It looks like 'bungunarprof'. I think it will be a BFN but I kinda want out of my misery now! However, ill keep fingers crossed we both are wrong and are in what appears to be a BFNovember!

Ill keep you all posted anyway. I might have to go and drown my sorrows later on horrendously expensive icelandic wine.

Where I work I see loads of magpies, but never more than one at a time..

Lately I haven't seen any magpies...

I also saw a numberplate ending in BFP.

I'm not superstitious but this must be a sign! :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about the BFN - I hope you managed to source some chocolate and Icelandic wine?? As slowlyfading says, it's not over until AF arrives, so don't lose heart just yet.

As for me... Still no AF. I am currently resisting POAS, as one app says she's due to arrive today, the other says tomorrow. I *will* resist POAS, I *will*... Off to bake and clean the house in order to keep ridiculously busy.

Hahaha - BLATANTLY a sign, lulu! I don't think I've ever seen such a blatant sign as a number plate stating BFP!! Come on #babydust, do your stuff! :j
