So after convincing myself that I'm not going to get a bfp this month, my body is now tricking me into confusion.

I have creamy white discharge (sorry tmi) intense nausea and my god I'm ravenous, literally eating anything savoury I can grab!

Normally before Af im dry(!) and wanting sugar but then not eating a lot.

My app (ovia) keep saying I have pregnancy symptoms, I just keep getting my hopes up then get cramps, only for about half hour then they disappear!

Hate this feeling of limbo, how do you all cope?

It was a stupid argument. Started out because he said he would be home at half 6 and he wasn't, then he had a go at me for burning the fried eggs! :rotfl: Then it turned into a TTC argument. He'd had a bit to drink, turns into a right richard if he doesn't like something after a few beers.

I understand his apprehension. I feel guilty about going on about TTC with what he's been through. He's told me that he will find it hard to be excited about pregnancy and he might not want to buy the necessary things until the last minute. It might sound selfish for me to say but I've told him that I will still need support from him when I'm pregnant.

He doesn't realise that women beat themselves up over it as it's more obvious to us when we've failed to conceive for a month. Time is more important to our bodies than theirs and he doesn't understand that.

Hi Lulu, I don't mean to pry but you say something has happened in the past - has he experienced something going wrong before? Maybe he is worried something will happen again?

  • Seems quiet here this evening, is everyone busy trying to take their mind off ttc? I have been doing some work in the house this evening for that reason exactly!

Bobley I do hope your symptom spotting will lead to something, where in your cycle are you?

Dingdongavon thank you, I am currently cd27 and 12dpo, normally a 28-30 day cycle so should hopefully know soon.

Soooo hard not to run out and buy a test, I'm allowing myself to buy some on Friday to do sunday if Af doesn't arrive, if it does then it shouldn't be money wasted as I will hopefully need them one day!

I know exactly what you mean Miss I.
There's times when OH isn't up for BDing when it's our fertile window (I've also had the crashed out due to alcohol moment!) and I try not to guilt trip him about it as it then becomes a massive issue. I try to remember that although I really want a BFP, I want it to happen in a 'loving' way rather than under duress!
Hopefully you have done enough but if not there's always next month. :)

Such a relief that someone else knows what I mean and understands my feelings, blue! (I wish he'd been crashed out, sadly he was being rather violently unwell...) That is precisely why I'm not mentioning it, I don't want it to become a massive issue - and yes, want it to happen in a loving way rather than something that has become a chore.

It sounds silly, but the closer it comes to the end of the year, the more anxious I get and am more desperate for a BFP. Last December is when we conceived our little boy that we lost in April, and I would ideally like to be pregnant before this point. If we haven't got our BFP by then we will definitely not be trying to conceive in December, as we do not want to end up having another pregnancy on the same "time-line" if you will. We feel that our next pregnancy is going to be hard enough as it is with all the worry we might lose another, never mind it being the same date wise as well.

Just got to try and keep positive and try not to get het up about it all. :)

Oh lulu that's so sad there's no wonder it is causing some tension. Big hugs to you both xx

Oh my goodness you have a lot more willpower than me waiting this long to test! Best of luck for your BFP, I've got a good feeling!

Haha dingdong, I think I've just convinced myself that Af will arrive so what's the point, plus, and this is actually the biggest factor, I don't have any hpts so I actually have to make a special effort to get some which I then talk myself out of!

Had a dream last night that Af arrived, when I woke up I thought it was real but so far so good!
