Ladies....I can't quite believe I'm writing this, but I got myBFP today!!

I only tested this morning to get a negative result before I started taking norethestrone to start my next cycle of clomid! So it came as quite a shock! We only DTD once this month, it's just been too hot for it & even tho I took clomid, i had a scan on day 12 showing a 12mm follicle, i went back on day 19 and it showed no follicle so the doctor told me I'd ov'd but I wasn't convinced as I hadn't had a positive ov test, was using clear blue dual hormone super doopa ones so was expecting a pos if i did. I've waited 2 weeks without thinking about it as in my head we had no chance this month & then this has happened. I really can't believe it!

I did a IC this morning & did a double take when I thought I could see a 2nd line for the 1st time ever! I showed OH who straight away could see it, I waited & did a super drug test which came up positive straight away & I've just done a clearable digi which shows pregnant 1-2 weeks.

I've booked a early scan on the 21st in the clinic i was having treatment from but I have no idea what I'm meant to do next!

Congratulations Princess Kate! It's about time some BFPs started coming! Hope you have a healthy and uneventful 9 months.

Ive 'PO' several several several sticks (thanks to code monkey!).. :mad: the CBFM only lets you go to CD30 - so i had a tantrum and didnt bother using the cheapo ones... Ive never got to CD47 before though - but obviously i didnt ovulate until later this month. :mad:

So anyway - CD1 will be tomorrow after several BFN over the past few days. roll on monday - the next appoinment with my GP to get fertility tests and referral completed (now that hes figured out what hes doing! )

Thanks for the reply. I have been doing the opk's once a day always at the same time. I tthink it is a bit early to get the surge so I will keep testing for another few days. Maybe af did visit earlier than I realised this month. I'm just annoyed I guess that we finally decide to start ttc again and my body lets me down.

Hey lovely ladies, I've been rubbish at getting on here recently as I've been so busy, sorry about that!

Massive congratulations to pinkshoes for getting a sneaky one in at the end of July and Princess for the first August BFP. Hopefully this is starting a new positive trend because I got my own BFP yesterday :j:j:j

I really wasn't expecting it at all - did a quick IC yesterday morning as I wanted to know if I could drink at a party last night, nothing at first glance - as per usual - so I just put it on the side, washed hands etc, and then as I went to put it in the bin I noticed a line! It was quite faint to start with but gradually got darker, I couldn't believe it! I really wasn't expecting a positive, especially as I did an IC last week - again for alcohol permission reasons - and it was negative.

I went out and bought a CB digi test at lunch time but did the wrong one as hubby literally thrust one into my hand and pushed me into the loo as soon as I walked in!! I used the normal test that again showed BFP so was reassuring anyways, but I then waited until I got home in the early hours of this morning and did the digi one... I was too impatient to wait until the morning and I didn't actually produce much wee (sorry for TMI) and it seemed to take ages to show the result and I was worried I'd wasted it, but eventually it came up as 2-3 weeks:eek: . I then immediately felt guilty about drinking last week - I drank a lot and was so ill the next morning, but perhaps it wasn't a hangover but my body reacting differently?

Anyways, I'm sorry for rambling on but I'm just so excited, I can't quite believe it's actually happened as we didn't seem to DTD very often, but just goes to show it only takes that one lucky time. Fingers crossed for a bumper August - I would like to be ambitious and guess 7 BFP's please
