welcome to all our new ladies joining us on this journey, if i havent added you to the lists and you would like be on them, please let me know what CD you are.

CD??? Not very good at there acronyms!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

AFM - went to the GP last week, awaiting referral now to fertility specialist. he was a pretty new GP, and didnt seem to know the process etc - im pretty sure i should have some bloods etc first, im awating a call back from him this week so he can tell me what the next steps are.

    hope everyone else is well.

Kelly, iirc, they should request 2 blood tests, 1 on CD1-5, the other CD21 (really 7dpo but they call it day 21 progesterone). Your DH will need to do at least 1 SA (mine did 2, one month apart). Somewhere in the middle of all this, they'll refer you to a FS, where they'll do more tests depending on your results - usually an internal ultrasound to check your ovaries and an HSG to check your tubes. We didn't get past this stage but I think there are a few other tests and they may pop you on clomid either with the GP or the FS depending on where you are in the country, your GP, what kind of pants you had on a week last Tuesday and if your great-aunt was called Mabel.

pinkshoes, there should be a list of acronyms on the first post on this thread. CD is cycle day, like a count up from the first day of your period (cd1).

Thanks for welcome. As I've only just come off pill and haven't had a bleed yet I'll have to hang back on going on the list until I can pin my cycle down!

So sorry jay . Must be so hard xx

    Hello to other newbies!

Kellykins - hope the gp manages to sort the right tests for you!

Musogirl - I went straight from mini pill to normal pill so can't really help I'm afraid. The mini pill used to make me have two bleeds a month!

    Thanks lovey.

Had the HSG a few years ago - it was normal as far as i can remember. (had it as came off the pill and hadnt had a bleed for 16months) seems that they got the process a little messed up. Ill given them until the end of the week then i will chase. thanks so much for this info though. Im on the nottingham/lincoln boarder - my gp is Nottinghamshire - i will do some research. It really shouldnt matter where in the country you live though should it! bloody postcode lottery!

Ill save all pants ;) - and my family is extremely small - pretty sure i havent got an aunt mabel! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just to warn you, there's a whole lot of box ticking going on. I had to do a pregnancy test 5 minutes after finding out DH's sperm count was zero.

Nurse: go pee in this cup
Me: But I physically can't be pregnant
Nurse: I know, but...pee in there anyway.
Me: Ok, but if it's positive, I'm in so much trouble. Or mother to the Messiah :rotfl:

Has anybody else had experience with coming off of Cerazette?
Took about 6 weeks for me when I came of Cerazette, you might have to wait a little longer yet.
