This is the new thread for those trying for a baby.
The previous one is here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4429163

Please be aware that this is a thread for those trying to conceive. If you wish to announce a pregnancy and you have never used this thread before, please use the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread. Hormones can run high on here (nature of the thread!) so please be sensitive. Many thanks!

This website is also useful http://www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm
It details the Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP) which some have found helpful in conceiving.

There is no such thing as a silly question, so please ask anything you are curious about. Many of us have 'been there done that' and many of our graduates still read this thread and are happy to offer advice when it is needed and relevant.

As with everything deemed medical, we cannot offer medical advice, so please visit or call your GP if you have any concerns or questions. Getting a preconception check up is recommended and allows your GP to know that you're trying for a baby as well as identifying and rectifying any issues or problems that may interfere with a pregnancy before you conceive.

The last time I made a new thread, I was the first graduate. Let's see what happens this time. As long as I am a graduate, I don't care when it happens!

Let me know if anyone would like to be added to the first post list of users, or if anyone needs to be removed. Thanks!

Also, if there is any information/articles/links that anyone thinks should be included as the first post, please mention them. :)

Massive thanks Mrs_T_M for the new thread - and definitely lots of luck for being first or at least one of the first new graduates - I'm hoping I can join you :).

How are you doing today? Hope you are both staying strong - we're still all thinking of you xx

If you get a chance, can I please ask you to update my details on the front page to:

    Gelly, 34 (35 next week - eeek), TTC#1 since 11/12, MMC Jan 14

I think things might be finally getting back to normal, (sorry if TMI) but the brown dishcharge has gone for nearly 2 days now and I'm 2 weeks post ERPC. Did a couple of IC PG tests this week and I'm pretty sure they are now negative or if not, the second line is so faint that even with contact lenses in, I can't see it!

Did a IC OV test today and there was a second line that was just a bit fainter than the main line so I'll keep on top of them for the next few days to see if I can work out where I am in my cycle.

Not sure how to work out what CD I'm on post MMC. I'm assuming you count the first day post ERPC as CD and if so, I'm CD15 which is pretty much around OV time so the sticks could indeed be right - best get BD'ing just in case :rotfl:

Very sadly, yesterday we had lots of police, ambulance and then private ambulance outside our office. We've got woods opposite and sadly they took a body away which we believe was found hanging from suicide. It's at times like this when we put things into perspective....poor soul to feel that low

Oooh gosh, this is a bit of a long one - best get back to work.

    Hugs all round
    Love Gelly

I updated you on the list. How are you doing?

We are doing ok, things are starting to get back to 'normal' here with a few blips of emotions pouring out at times.

I hope that both of us get our BFP's soon! I miss being on the pregnancy boards.

  • Ohh new threads, well done Mrs-TM
(I hope you are well. Still thinking of you)

Could you take me off this list for the moment please?

I'm booked in for surgery to remove fibroids at the end of Feb. I don't know if we will have to wait a while before ttc after that or if we will be jumping back on the bandwagon as soon as possible before they grow back! Until then, I'm on wine, caffine, chocolate - the lot.

Fingers crossed that the new lists will be luck for all of you lovely ladies.

I didn't see your name on the main users list, but kelly can take you off of the daily list if needed.

Also, kelly, I am more than willing to do the daily lists again if you need a break!

Just got a notification through the letter box that I owe Royal Mail £17.38 for a customs charge on my birthday present from Mom. Like I needed that extra stress today....
