my condolences to you Hilstep,out of pain and at peace god rest her soul.

Thank you for all the good wishes, I have been thoroughly spoilt by the family and had so many cards and texts today.My youngest DGD Holly who is a very hard up student (finals in May-June) Bless her arrived with a large bunch of gorgeous flowers from her and her BF and also lots of nice shower stuff and hair stuff.She also took me out to a full english and Dobbies locally and we have been nattering there over post breakfast brunch for the past hour.She is a lovely lass and so very kind hearted.Eldest DD sent lots of goodies and presents and I am off to history this afternoon then to youngest DD where I have apparently two bags of goodies to open when DD gets home from work.I am staying there for an evening buffet as well with the boys and my eldest DGD Katie and her fiancee are coming this evening to see me.My brother davey phoned me this morning from France where he lives and also my oldest friend who is in Tromso at the moment with her OH to see the Northern Lights :)
I am having a great day and even my niece in Mexico has texted me which was a nice suprise.
Right I must get a wriggle on or I will be late for History .Thanks once again for all your good wishes

It's been sunny here for a while but it's clouding over now.
I need to collect DGD just after 4 & take her to gym.
Work was incredibly busy today but I managed to get all the work done before I left.

Hi everyone,
Back from Kings. Dr very pleased with me. He couldn't tell me if the cancer had come back or not, so I have to have another PET scan in May. If nothing shows up then they will continue to monitor me. If something does I will start the chemo, but not until then.

Thanks you for all you condolences. Just waiting for OH to arrive now.

Well friends I wish I could send you some of the lovely sun from out here. We have a little breeze, tail end of what you are having, but gorgeous blue skies and sun. I am sleeping far too well, meaning I do not get on here very early. Just had friends round for a tuna salad lunch, with the Cava they brought with them (hic). Tonight we are out again with friends from the UK at the carnivore restaurant we went to before, so a meat feast for Skye for the next week from the doggie bag. Only downside is they have move the satellites so we have lost BBC & probably ITV over the weekend until we get a bigger dish next week, but sure we can find something better to do!:o:D

Hi everyone,

Well that's another working week over with. I've not really posted as didn't have a lot to say!

We had a delivery of some side tables the other night but there is damage to one corner so this weekend we need to complain and get it replaced. Not very OS to buy them new but they should last (once we get a good set) and new our sofas were a bargain second hand job so along with painting the room ourselves it was a relatively cheap refurbishment.

hilstep - sorry to hear about your MIL but at least she is now at peace. Glad your hospital visit went as well as could be expected

This weekend I have a few bits and pieces to get (milk, salad etc.) which I will get while OH is at his hockey match (if the pitch is not flooded). Have a few loads of washing to do, general cleaning and tidying and also some baking to fill up the tins. Hoping for the rest of it to be mainly relaxing and not rushing around

Happy birthday jackie O sounds like you are being deservedly spoiled :beer:

Enjoyed our trip to the shops , dd2 picked up the clothes she needed and I picked up a valentine gift for DH we had a leisurely lunch . It was lovely,spending time with her.

Just making chicken korma with rice and naan for tea. Not feeling too hungry so,will just have a small portion

Hilstep, sincere sympathy on Mils death.

JackieO, happy birthday, late in the day, glad to hear that your lovely family have treated you as you deserve.....as far as diet is concerned, did you not know that calories dont count on your birthday?

Spent over an hour in vets with Mossy.....another stick across the roof of his mouth...he was so distraught that vet had to sedate him, he is now fast asleep on floor, couldnt make it onto couch....I waken him every so often to make sure he is ok, he just drops off again.

Hugs to all those sufferingg with the weather, it is very windy here and raining, but we are high enough not to be in danger of flooding.

Housework all done, washing up to date, legs shaved and ready for the weekend at my brothers. DD has gone out for her Christmas night out, just hope she is able to get up at 4.30 in a reasonable state!
