Stockport

Hello,

I'm hoping someone may be able to guide me in the right direction..

I have also recieved a parking fine from excel for parking without a ticket on the peel centre Stockport car park, to be honest this is my own fault but as it was late afternoon on a Sunday I actually thought parking would be free, this is going back over 6 months ago now. At the time I was advised by family and friends to ignore the letter as it was a scam so I did just that, a few weeks later I recieved another reminder letter which I also ignored. Over the last few weeks I have recieved a further two letters from a company called Newlyn advising me to pay £166 the last letter I recieved from them tells me that if I do not pay this fine within 14 days they will proceed to take me to court.. I have had no contact with these people I have not acknowledged any of these letters but I'm really unsure of what to do now..

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Please no new threads about the flippin' Peel Centre until you have read the NEWBIES thread linked (where - not being personal, just practical - I beg people not to start new threads about the Peel Centre, among all the other advice!). I also explain all about Debt Collector stage and your options (with linked examples if you decide to tell the debt collector where to go), in post #4 of that same thread.

Don't ignore Court papers of course (rare and defendable) but there really is nothing else to add that's not already covered in the NEWBIES sticky thread and in all the zillions of other Peel Centre/debt collector threads on here every single day.

You should search the forum for the keyword Peel...!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
