Minor issue, but driving me mad!
My forum smiley's stopped working a while ago in Chrome - hoped they'd come back, but still just getting the url when I try to insert them.
Made no changes that I can think of. Checked they're enabled in the forum and turned off Avast Anti-Virus temporarily to see if they'd re-appear and they didn't. Any ideas?
BTW, they work fine in IE.
Thanks.

MSE's smilies also don't work in the latest version of Internet Explorer 11. The workaround is to Right click on the smilie and select Copy, then click back into the text and Right click Paste.
The other workaround is to select the Switch Editor Mode icon in the top right of the reply box.
Don't have Chrome so I can't say if this will work for you.
The forum software that MSE uses is simply not keeping up with current browser developments.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
Not sure just what you are all doing as the smilies still work fine for me without doing anything special

Thanks Oblivion! The right clicking on the smiley doesn't work for me - already tried that.
Can't see the Switch Editor Mode icon - could you explain exactly where it is/what it looks like so I can give this a try?
