  • Got paid on26th thanks gd. Had letter 2 days later to tell me they were refunding me, waw!
    So I can chill now.

    So that was 58 days from the original post. Can the HMRC apologists explain whether in their views this was more down to:

    1. Incompetence, or
    2. Cynical and deliberate slow pay.

    From the outside the two blur into one, but are both very common at all levels of HMRC it would appear.

  • Well they will not admit to fault, they do no wrong. But we live and learn. My bank will have it ready for next year. I wonder if they will wait 58 days for it.:D
