  • There is really no point of any more posts on this thread. If you want to give me more ear bashing join the other thread where I am also getting ear bashing. Can't cope with both.

Hachette - your insurance company is NOT going to fund legal action against this vet.

    What will you do then?

OP, you will get PPR'd if you continue in this vein.

People have been far more sympathetic in the pet forum than in the praise, vent warnings where you posted originally. You are so bloody minded about retribution and understandably emotional that it means you cannot see the facts as they would be seen in a court, which is where you want it to end up.

I deal with emotional people everyday, but my area is employment. You know what, the law is the law. It ISN'T fair. The person/employer wronged does not always win. I have seen employees and employers be negligent, but on a point of law, they will win, as they can demonstrate they did what was reasonably required.

    I hope you find peace.
I have no idea why I am posting this. I know you will ignore it, as you have ignored every single post that doesn't agree with you.

  • You are so rude and arrogant.

You speak in riddles and expect everyone to know what you mean.

You said that whatever was causing the low platelet count was treatable with tablets as if it was an already known illness.

IF THEY ONLY FOUND OUT ABOUT THE ILLNESS THAT WAS CAUSING THE LOW PLATELET COUNT WHEN HE WAS AT THE VET FOR THE LUMP BIOPSY HE WAS ALREADY NOT A WELL DOG. I hope you manage to comprehend that this time.

Dear or dear I am off to bed Can't be doing with that.

Your one was uncalled for too. So what is the big problem that I have read Tort of Law?

    No problem.

Just that you appear to have misunderstood many of the concepts of tort law. I spend my life identifying and correcting misconceptions and misunderstandings surrounding the legal concepts - because I teach law. I also spend my life dealing with inappropriate behaviour of students. I WILL call you on behaviour that is unacceptable.

If you don't like it, go elsewhere. I have respected you. I have tried to help you. I would not tolerate being spoken to like that by one of my students, my family or the man on the street. So I am damn sure I will not tolerate from you.

No I have not ignorded it and thank you for this but as I said I will have to wait and see. Maybe you right maybe not I have started this so will see it to the end. What outcome? We shall see.
  • Hachette can I please just say I am not posting to have a go.

I believe you have been through something devastating.

I also believe that everybody has the right to grieve in their own way on their timescale.

The only reason I posted is because I am genuinely concerned, even as a complete stranger, about your wellbeing.

You do not need to lash out.

To be fair I did say that you have not seen the full forensic vet report so it would be very difficult to make any comments on my case. I don't know what you mean by "being spoken like that" If I have offended you it was no my intention to do so.

You have very much offended me, whether you intended to or not.

I do not need to see the full forensic report. The advice I gave you was not based on the forensic report - it was based on the facts of the case as you described them. Legally you are placing too much emphasis on this forensic report. I have built legal arguments out of less in the past.

Nevertheless, as others have said, you have a crusade you are determined to follow. Protracted argument is not going to change the advice I have given you.

    Good night.
  • I am not going to say anymore, Hachette. Like you say, you will see. And I truly hope you get what you want from this. I know you don't want to listen as you are still so upset. I just deleted a loooong post I made on law and how unfair it will seem.

Hoping you get the solace you seek.
