It might not even be possible to get the correct paint colour to spray.
Just make sure that all the mounting points for the bumper (i.e. where it bolts onto the car body) are intact and free of cracks - if not, reinforce it with cable ties, metal brackets, etc., so there's no chance of it coming loose if you hit a large pothole, speed bump, etc.
My sympathies, BTW. I've had two hit-and-run incidents, both of them when my car was parked, and both leaving hefty repair bills (£2000 and £3500). They weren't expensive cars either, just extensive damage. :mad:0 -
