Like everyone else has commented, I don't think I'll be reaching my target - but I really like this way of saving and will continue waaaaayyy after the 1st of Dec. Since I last logged in I've saved another £3.31.

I only just found this thread and guess it'll be too late to join, but can I be in the next one please? :)

I'm going to carry this on but will probably not cout it as I go. As I've said before I save in sealed tins and like to try and guess how much I have got - when I do open it it's always a surprise
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

I think i was waaaaay overoptimistic when i said i'd aim for the whisky bottle one when i started! but I think I might do this again after christmas - do people mind if I start another thread (i.e. would you join in?) or should i leave it? x

Think it's a good idea to carry it on - it still makes me think before I spend money, and if I get too much change I know I have spent too much. Think part of the problem is people have lost a bit of interest because the totals haven't been updated very often - I don't understand how to do it, is that something you would be able to do? If it is I say go for it!!

    stressed xx

  • I know some people have said that they think you spend more money this way but I don't find I take any more out my account - and our holiday money looks after itself

I will join up again if we have regular updates- I'm going to join the £2 club too after Christmas so hopefully with that and surveys Christmas will be nearly "free" next year

I'll update it reguarly - every week I think. The one reason I joined in the first place was that I was interested just how much we could all collectively save - this didn't happen here, but I'll do it! x
