Change Jar Challenge

I think most of us are in the same position. Trying to do the shopping challange to save money and not having any change because of this. Every little helps and whatever we have in December regardless whether we meet our targets at least its better than nothing. If we add it to our vouchers from Tesco etc it will all add up and this challange is one I will start again in January. For those of us who are doing the shopping challange we are already saving loads of dosh.:T0

I'm still battling on - often try to spend 5p over or under the pound just to get the change - but mostly find my calculation are out!!!
Even if I don't make my £100 target all my change challenge is being added in with my pin money so hopwfully when I open the tin I will get a nice suprise :jHoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

It is slow going isn't it! Although I'm pleased if I have a no/low spend day even if my change jar goes hungry. I started a month into the challenge and counted up £9.01 so far. Then I compared this with Pigsback. I have the equivalent of £9.20 from joining Pigsback at the end of May.
I think the change jar challenge is much more rewarding and it's overtaken Pigsback very quickly. Plus I'm enjoying the way I feel lighter without carrying coins in my purse.0 -

Can I join please?
I've a large, (regrettably) empty, sweetie tube (you know, the rip-off ones that all the shops sell at Christmas). It was last emptied at the beginning of July for a car boot sale. I've just counted up and I've got £12.19. I'd like to aim for the jam jar amount of £75 please.
Cheers.
