  • Any one else finding it slow going? I'm trying hard not to spend any money and my total is very slowly creeping up! Oh well suppose money I haven't spent should mean I will have money left for Christmas - roll on the kids going back to school - hopefull will be able to sort out a budget and stick to it
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!
    Make £5 a day for 366 started Dec 2019
    YTD £ £ 78.23/£1£1,825
    Cash - £ 48.23 Vouchers - £ 30

    Wombling into 2020 £38.78
  • Its a tough one isn't it? I guess its better to not spend a lot and fail the challenge than spend loads just to get change.
I'm lucky that OH does most of the spending and I *borrow* the change from his pockets
I've put %5.56 in my har already this week, but over £4 of it is from OH's pockets.... and he's gone out again tonight, so more change will come home with him tonight :D

I don't think I'm gonna make the £100 target by Xmas, I think I may have to set my aims a little lower. Anyways I've saved £4.03 this week, I did work out that I'd need to save around £5.05 or something to hit £100 by 1st Dec but it's not happening
