I'm going to join the challenge too! Normally I use the last penny in my wallet to pay for things at the till and I mostly use plastic to pay for my groceries etc.
We have a couple of containers with coins already but what would really be cool is to get a piggy bank similar to the one Martin Lewis used on his TV shows. I think that's really cool. Does anyone know where I can get one?0 -

I'd like to join in too. This is my first posting - was trying to write about my success in reclaiming bank charges! Will try for the whisky bottle challenge! Going to see my new (not yet born) grandson in San Fransisco for Xmas, so the money will come in handy!0

Morning all.... so I had a good clear out yesterday, went thru all my handbags (there are a few!), raided the car and under the sofa cushions (always good places to find cash!) and went thru all 4 pairs of OH's jeans on the floor (we are at the point in our relationship where I have given up picking his clothes off the floor, they just get piled in a corner - u'd never believe he was 28, it's like living with a teenager!)..... anyways, as I was saying, I had a rumage, and came up with the grand total of.... £9.09:D
Actually found more than that, there were a couple of 50ps too, but I'm not including them.
Watch out whiskey jar, coz here I come!!!

Great start there!
ive not bought anything yet today to save, argh! i keep a change jar anyway so all of my change leading up to this challenge has been saved, im just counting what i add from today onwards as how much ive saved for this challenge, so theres no routing around clothes pockets or raiding my wallet from me!!!!!
expect a total of around 40p for today :rotfl:** Matched Betting Veteran **0
