Well we're off later to do some shopping (OH's DS1 needs new school trousers) so hopefully I'll get some more soon...

40p's a good start, if u got that every day until 1st Dec, u'd have a good amount!

    Oooo the challenge has begun!

Well, I've been out for the paper today and a treat for the children to help them over the trauma of no more Dr Who for a while! So I now have.... £1.51 - I did 'have' to let them pay individually!!

Anyway - I'm just going to throw all my money into my moneybox and will add it up on a Sunday morning.

    Good luck everyone.

Sorted my budget money out for remainder of week (normally use the 20ps for DD's school travel) from what was left in previous copper jar, I have bagged £1 and the other 76p has been split towards 15p for milk with a £1 coin, and 61p in her travel jar with her 4 £1 coins which will get her to school upto wednesday, then my week starts again on the Thursday. This has left me wiht £1.25 to start my challenge off. Next update from me on Thursday:o

Jaxx can I be a pain and change from the piggy bank to the whiskey bottle? I have gotten myself a 3.5 litre vodka bottle to save in. I haven't been out today so have a grand total of 55p to add. I do have £7.22 in a jar but I wont include that.

I'm off the starting blocks, a whole 36p to put in piggy - already feeling I'm slipping behind some of you big savers, I'm sure we're all going to do really well with this one. Have fun!
