    Hi All

Jaxx dont want to appear blonde and you might have already answered these questions already if so sorry but do we empty into the jar daily out of our purses or wallets and count up once a week do you want everyone to count on the same day so we can all update totals at same time?

    Hi Patentgirl

You can empty into the jar as little or as often as you like, the only stipulation with the challenge is that between 1st July & 1st December is that you MUST SAVE every single coin that is 20p or less. If you have them in your walelt for a couple of days and then put them into your jar or whatever your saving this is fine, all you have to do is to put all coins 20p and below away and do not spend them!!

Every Monday I will update with a weekly total on how much people saved that week (as well as a overall total) So all I will need is for everyone to PM me on the monday to let me know their weekly total

You should also all keep an overall total of how much you have saved in your signature, and the threads will give everyone a weekly update as to how you are doing

I'd love to join in but I already throw all pennies under a £1 into my DD's money box and bank it every couple of months so would feel awful if I took that away.

    Fab idea though! x

    Hi

I'd like to join in at jam jar level (£75). We are a cash only household - and very frugal at the moment too but I am sure whatever we get will be very well appreciated in December.

    Great idea!

I do this anyway so what I shall do is add up what I've got now (over £70!) bank that & on Sunday shall start again.

I am aiming for the £75 jam jar one.

Boo not fair... I want to join in but all the change that we get under 50p goes in our daughters money boxes. Although i'm sure they would be happier seeing Mummy happy with the pennies to clear off the debt. Oh oh Moral dilemmia coming on me thinks......

You can put me down for the piggy bank savings. OH and I were doing really well at saving loose change but have lapsed of late - so this is just what I need to get back on track
