Talktalk Free line rental, free Broadband (yeah, right)

I signed up this morning for the Talk Talk Simply Broadband package plus line rental and connection. I was shopping around for the cheapest deal and they were advertising free unlimited broadband, and line rental with £50 fee for new connections. Thinking this was incredible I signed up then and there - I even have a confirmation email stating my monthly costs as 'free' but with a £50 connection fee.
Thinking that this was a little too good I decided to check a little later and sure enough could not find the deal online any more. Speaking to their call centre they did indeed confirm that my monthly charge was £17.50 a month. There's not much in life for free but to be honest I would have gone elsewhere if I'd known it was £17.50/month.
Does anyone know if there is any obligation for Talk talk to fulfill?
Thanks
Pete
