Vanguard Lifestrategy Halifax?

Is the Halifax the best place to invest in S&S ISA? I realise that the only option is 100% atm.
Also, is there an advantage in investing in this as a SIPP rather than an ISA. My husband has practically no pension, and I am keen that we rectify that situation!!

There is no one-size-fits-all best place.I realise that the only option is 100% atm.
if you mean the VLS100, then that is effectively the least attractive version and given its high risk profile, typically unsuitable for most people. Also, is there an advantage in investing in this as a SIPP rather than an ISA.
Possibly. Although a personal pension may be more appropriate depending on the amounts. Which tax wrapper is best will depend on your financial circumstances. My husband has practically no pension, and I am keen that we rectify that situation!!
Retirement planning is important. State pension of £8k a year is not attractive. So, doing something is good. The pension is one way of doing it but is not the only way. For most people a combination of pension and ISA is the best way financially. However, some people require the tie in of the pension as they lack the self control to plan their finances and not be tempted.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thank you! I was looking to invest this year's ISA allowance in the VLS at the 80% level as I am happy to tie up the money for 10 years +, so I was just looking for the best wrapper. I would have both mine and my husband's allowance to invest, so was just wondering if his was best put into a pension.0

I'm struggling to find the platform charges for Halifax for holding funds.
I web seem quite cheap. £5 to buy, no % charges.
A not to shabby article...
