Tuesday 4th February - What small DFW things will you do today?

Morning Campers,
Today's few small money-saving things:
*Saved energy by sharing bath water & also letting my hair dry naturally instead of taming with dryer & straightners.
*Did laundry overnight on Economy 7, 30 deg. All now on heated airer. Think I shall get away with just 2 loads this week.
*mr f took leftover coffee from breakfast cafetiere to work in flask mug thingy.
*Saved hot kettle water in flask for my next hot drink.
*Dough in bread maker ready for making pizza tonight, plus rolls for the rest of this week's packed lunches.
*Free fitness - an hour+ in the garden clearing a border. Also divided up my pink primroses which seem to have grown like mad to make some new free plants to fill a new bed. (Saves me from garden centre temptation)
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch & work snacks.
*Would be an NSD except now need to get some anti-bac wound powder for our cat who came in yesterday with an injury.....looks like he's been fighting again. (He's the local hard nut) Haven't tried it before. Hope it helps. Would like to avoid another big vet bill if possible, but at the same time, we'll definitely take him along if it takes a turn for the worse.
*Did a few surveys - not many about today.
*Knit some more of my hearts & stripes scarf.
*Check ebay listings.
Think that'll do. Tomorrow's weather forecast looks appalling, so might plan another cooking day as the one I did last week was so useful.
OK, that's me. Cheers all,

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0 -

I hit 250 last week but didn't get them all credited so am raising a query to find out why. I had a secret weapon - DD did most of them for me! We don't have a TV connection or aerial so adverts are a novelty for her, and the trigger thing was a bit of fun too. I doubt she'll stay interested for long!
I managed to get to 263 the first week I did it. But I literally did everything I could find.
Then it went to 101, 132, 102, & down to 70 last week.
They obviously get paid for the clicks, so its like a click farm they have going on, which I've seen stuff about on Panarama. I'd guess that they recieve ad revenue from the companies who's trailers are shown. So I suppose it all depends on how many clicks they need to generate per week to hit that. It all helps though doesnt it, 100 points would not be something I'd ever earn in a week via shopping at sainsbos as I just dont spend that sort of money anymore. So alls good really." Hi All
5) Checked Adpoints - Nothing to do it seems? I always go to latest ads, but nothing has points. Is that the same for everyone or am I doing it wrong?
Bob
Hi lovey
I think Ally may be of more help than me
, I log in most days and tend to do all the "recommended" and then if Im not too bored just click through latest - sorry not much help.
I love this "free" money as I too dont spend regularly at sainsbo's either (isnt one close by) but I have also made sure my netar card is registered on ebay too (should I need to buy anything)Goodreads 2025 Challenge :16/75

Hi Gang!!
Hope everyone's having a great day!!
Thanks for starting us off Zig!!
Got a rare day off today, so will be spent catching up on bits and bobs... Have been a bit slack on the old money front with my new role - it's non stop!! But, should be good for the career and the overtime won't go amiss...
So, today's plan looks like:
Check banking and move a little to savings
File paperwork and get through outstanding admin stuff
Hoover house and put a wash on and out to dry
Meal plan for the week
Submit meter readings for Gas and Electric
Shop around for best exchange rates on $USD ready for holiday in April
Heating can stay off - nice day here today with the sun beating in from the sea - can't beat it!
Long bike ride with friend - free exercise and catch up
Nectar Adpoints - It seems like people are having problems with it this week?? I tend to do as many as I can each week - we're up to about £40 now, we don't shop in Sainsburys, so the vast majority of points are from Adpoints. The plan is to spend these points on Easyjet flights when they mount up for a nice holiday!!
I think that's about it for now... Hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for starting us off LPS. Thanks also for the reminder to wash my make up brushes, I got a nice fancy one for Christmas that I need to take care of!
I have some exciting/terrifying news (I'm still not decided which one it is), I've received a job offer for another company! The money is slightly more than I am on now, but I think the prospects are better. The trouble is I am 26 & have worked at my current company for just over 7 years now, so I am scared I might be making the wrong decision, however I know I am not going anywhere here so what have I got to lose, right?!
Today's plan:-
- Making use of free water at work
- Staying in for my lunch break to avoid spending
- Food from stores, leftovers for lunch & dinner tonight!
- Charging phone at work
- Log calories on free app (MyFitnessPal, feel free to add me if you need some motivation, it'll help me too! I'm hawaiian_supergirl)
- Check online banking & get DH to check his
- Enter some comps
- Do some surveysDeclutter & flylady
- Heating on as low as possible, fleecey dressing gowns on
- Call solicitor who I STILL have not managed to get hold of...
- Washing on eco setting using less than the recommended dose of washing liquid
- Hang up to dry
- Wash make up brushes
- Write my notice!! & prepare myself to try & negotiate with my current employer. It's a bad time for an experienced member of the team such as myself to leave...however I don't see my boss fighting to keep me
No matter what I do I feel like just a number.

Well today is a lovely Tuesday and Im very happy to have control of my financial life - needed gas and a new keyboard that I actually was able to afford. Life is good. So today, keeping Im keeping control of my money by:
1. Coming here, keeping my motivation high and my mind firmly on my money.
2. Cooked all food for today.
3. Took my pooch to the vets for a check up on his leg, he had torn his cruxiate ligament and needed surgery a couple of days ago, luckily he's recovering nicely and THANKFULLY he was insured or it would have cost us £1500 :exclamati
4. Going to take said pooch for a short, calm walk later on.
5. Practised my guitar.
6. Kept working on my drawing.
7. Started working on my budget for this upcoming Friday, I tend to work on it a little bit each day so hopefully nothing gets forgotten about.
I think thats about it, happy Tuesday lovelies.Debt as of March 2018, £794 rent arrears £4273.7 debt, £900.70 in pay day loans, total £5968.40 . Total debt today £5968.40
