Hi, you are quite right Alan we have 15,000 points which we were told would get us two good weeks in the Summer holidays. As I'm a teacher, we explained that this was the only time we could have two weeks holiday and were told that there would be no problem at all with this. We have all the paperwork and the name of the salesman.

Our contract is with Crown Resorts, Malaga. I have looked on the website and there is accommodation available but when it comes to actually booking, there is a technical hitch and it is no longer available. It is frustrating.

I will do a little more research and then wright to my credit card issuer as you suggest.

If anyone else is in the same position, I would like to hear from you.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply Alan and Meer53.

We are in the same position as you, only we've got 30000. You can get in touch with Crown Resorts and they will give you the list of approved sellers they deal with. You can sell your points through them. A bit time consuming but the companies will do everything for you, and the customer pays their commission, you need to pay advert fee though.

I think this is your only option as I've been on the phone to them etc and RCI can't do anything for you, it has to go through Diversified Resorts. Hope this helps.

No, we can't find anywhere big enough to sleep 6 people with 2 bedrooms in school holidays which is what we were told when we signed up. If we could, we would have used it.

I don't think the product was what it stated.

Hi Jazzin. Very interested in your experience. We visited a crown resort last year. We were approached and persuaded to relinquish our 2 weeks for points as were told lower maintenance and More flexible/cheaper. We know know we were duped. We were told that the points were more flexible and we would always get something even in school holidays which like you is what we need. Also told that 20000 points was sufficient to get a week.
We have contacted them as not what we were told but our word against theirs so really keen to hear your experience as seems it is not just our misinterpretation.

My husband & I have just returned home.

We stayed in a Hotel in Warwickshire for three nights & four days.

We only had to pay for our breakfast! Our Hotel stay was paid by Eze Group Lifestyle Experts.

We attended a five hour meeting yesterday with Eze Group.

We were picked up from our Hotel by cab & taken to there office in Startford Upon Avon.

When we arrived we were met by this man & taken to a caf! for a drink.

We asked the man what was the reason that we had been invited to attend the meeting.

He said we are Eze Group - Lifestyle Experts.

He asked us if we were Timeshare owners & said he was nothing to do with Timeshare.

We told him we had bought two timeshares, we said this was years ago from two companies.

Club la Costa & Resort properties.

He said we maybe able to help you with our Legal team that are in our office.

He started asking more questions about our timeshares & asked if we still had them.

We said no, we were late paying the maintenance costs on both Timeshares.

Resort Properties told us we can no longer use our apartment!

They said they would have resell our one week, to cover the arrears on our apartment in Hollywood Mirage in Tenerife.

Club La Costa said we could not use our points until the arrears were paid to them.

We could not pay the arrears & still have a debt of £21,000.00 with the finance company that Club La Costa introduced us to.

Our original finance costs were £8,000 with GE.Money

My husband had an accident & could not work for three years.

I was also out of work.

We could not pay the monthly payment for the maintenance or to the finance company.

When we were in the meeting yesterday the man said if we sign up for there discount card with Eze Group & pay £7,000 they will sort out our debt of 21,000.00

They also said yesterday, even though Resort properties have sold our one week years ago. We will soon be getting a large bill for all the maintenance that we have not paid to them.

We did not sign up with Eze Group.

They were not very happy with us yesterday because we would not pay the £7,000 for the Eze Group discount card.

They said if we bought the Eze Group discount card we would get there Legal team to help us.

They said they know for sure we were miss sold the timeshares.

They also said they deal with hundreds of people who have bought Timeshares from these two companies.

Please can you help me in this matter?

How did these people get in touch with you, how did they have your details? I suspect it's because one of the companies you have timeshare dealings with gave the details to him. Keep well clear of these people who say they can sell them or will buy them off you. I had timeshare, stopped paying the fees and heard nothing else after a few reminder letters. I assume they sold our week again.

There are some excellent articles on the subject of timeshare mis selling, and the action to take on the website for Athena Law in Manchester. I heard one of their solicitors on a radio 5 programme talking about it, he specialises in timeshare exit and offers a fixed fee service from what I can gather. Worth a look.

Do not touch them with a barge pole, or anything else. You have lost money already, please do not part with a penny more. Their website claims the company is registered as Eze Group Europe Ltd and has offices in Birmingham. According to Companies House records this afternoon, there is no such company registered in England or Wales, its probably Gibraltar or Malta where consumer law barely exists. If you pay them £7000, all you do is increase your debts by 33%, put the phone down if they call again, and they will
