I also make soup sometimes too.
how do you freeze it, DC? In bags or tubs?0 -
If you put a bag inside a tub until it freezes you can remove the tub when its frozen and use it to freeze something else. Saves space and you need a lot less containers. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

Hello again,
I haven't posted on the wrong thread... I was answering w2bese's question about a chuck it all in recipe yesterday before the thread was merged.. Please see above. I think the confusion has occurred because I was too lazy to quote my post when I replied :rotfl:0 -
I don't think my pasties and pies would make a good one pot :rotfl:£36/£240

I have unmerged this on this one occasion for you.
I have removed the posts discussing how everything is merged on Old style as I don't feel they add any value to the thread
Please bear in mind we are only volunteers to help the board run smoothly. Old style is pretty generic and 99 percent of times, a question has already been asked before. Old style is incredibly busy and merging threads keeps similar posts together.
If you ever have concern or issue on how a thread is merged or moved, then feel free to contact the forum team.
I would have merged it into the same thread as I read your initial post as a one pot wonder post.
Hope this helps

Curry
Some thai paste, coconut milk, any old veg that I have hanging around and simmer for about 20 mins
Sweet potatoes, shove a few in the microwave for 6 mins, put in a pot/wok with two stock cubes, add some frozen spinach, onion, mushroom, a bit of chilli powder, turmeric, simmer for about 20-30 mins, serve on its own or with rice, great way to use up leftovers, you can also add some yogurt or soya yogurt after you serve up.
Potato wedges with chilli, spring onion, boil up some tatties, then put in oven with some oil, chop up some spring onion, add in, also chop up a chilli and put on top, you can also add a bit of hot petter sauce and a tiny bit of chilli powder, you dont need to put them in wedges, you could just slice the potatoes, again its a good way to use up potatoes if you are fed up with baked potatoes and have some left over.
Fajitas
I use any old leftover veg such as onion, tomato, courgette, chop it all up, pour over a bit of oil and leave for about 30-40 mins, add some refried beans if you like and some guacamole/salsa as well0
