Primark do t shirts for £1, 2 and 3. Go to the men's section too, look on all the racks, specially the sale racks.
You can buy leggings for £3 to 5 too.
To fund this, sell your old stuff on eBay.
For £40 in primark you could have a weeks clothes. Or more.63 mortgage payments to go.

Get yourself over to pinterest and search 'refashion clothes'
Hundreds (literally!) of ideas to make over the clothes that no longer fit and because you're going down not up many are doable with just basic sewing skills.
Congratulations on your fantastic weight loss:T:T:T0 -
As well as Pinterest, try Craftster - it's, as the name suggests, a crafty forum with a section for clothing. Making larger clothes smaller is going to be much easier than smaller to larger.0

Are you still wearing size 26 clothes or have you managed to buy some smaller sizes as you lost weight?0 -
no helpful suggestions - I just want to say 'Well done you'! to drop five dress sizes is a major achievement. keep up the healthy eating and maintain that!0

I second Primark for leggings and charity shops for tunics.
You can pick them up - decent ones like M&S, Next, Wallis - for 99p upwards.
I always check the washing instruction label to see how faded it is.
That's a good indication of how many times it's been washed. I'm very happy if it's still got the little inspection paper circle.
I also check the under-arm area inside the garment for wear.
Well done on the weight loss. :T0 -
Well done for the weight loss. I can only really say the same as others on here - Primark is by far your best option. Often cheaper than charity shops and for the prices, their clothes are actual not bad quality.
I have had T shirts from Primark which lasted better than much dearer ones from M&S.
I personally would get a decent pair of trousers or jeans and maybe a pair of leggings and then some tops. No one will notice if you wear the same trousers most of the time and if you swop the tops around or maybe wear them differently, say with a scarf one time you can get away with not actually having that many clothesThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
Just wanted to add my congratulations :T
And to say I lost 7 stone 3 years ago and went from a size 24 to a 10 which I still am.
When I was dieting I didn't buy one thing new and the charity shops were my best friend and still are.
Make friends with the staff in your favourite and tell them your story and tell them what pieces you are looking for.
Mine would always keep things they thought I would like for me to have a look at try on.
I now volunteer in my favourite shop.:)
I have a lovely selection of clothes now and I can honestly say everything is from charity shops. So don't be shy get in there and have a rummage help the charity and make some new friends as well

So can I ask, how long did it take you to lose this weight? Presumably not overnight, which makes me wonder what have you been wearing up until today?!
