T-mobile sent sms in error advising data allowance exhausted
I received the following sms this morning: "You've used up your Internet booster. To continue using data until your fair use limit resets on 1/3 click here.... [followed by url]". Following the link isn't possible over wifi and impossible over 3g.
I knew from my phone that I'd only had 12.31 MB of my 250MB allowance, so prepared to do battle with a foreign call centre, only to be deflected by a friendly Welsh girl saying "sorry it's a mistake and lots of people have had this message".
End of problem and 3g works fine, though it would have been nice to get another text explaining it was a mistake.
Might help anyone else similarly confused.

Snap! Nice to know I'm not the only one to receive this. My new monthly allowance only started today too :eek:0

They have been having a few problems of late, In my case my monthly 'Internet booster' was end after 7 days. It was reinstated a week later.

We've fixed the problem affecting your allowance and credited you with anything spent during this time. We're very sorry for any trouble this caused you.0 -
I've two phones with them. Phoned at the weekend to upgrade or downgrade them, depending how you look at it, to two new sim-only contracts. I was quite happy with the deal so agreed to renew them both. This evening mobile data has gone down on both of them! Sitting in a queue listening to canned music.0
